BIO Anna Hoxha was raised in northern New Jersey and has set down roots in the Metropolitan area. She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from William Paterson University in 2021, BA in Art Studio from William Paterson University in 2018, and she maintains a fine arts practice in mixed media painting from her home studio. Her endless curiosity, admiration for storytelling, and background in the arts enable her to inspire folks to explore fantastical artistic expression. She proudly leads inclusive art programs for students aged 3-90+, meeting them at any level, as a Director of Education at One River School. She is a fully certified educator recognized by the New Jersey Department of Education.

FINE ARTS STATEMENT My art is a reflective autobiographical collection of fleeting moments, often inspired by my two Italian Greyhounds. It references cross-cultural depictions of dogs throughout art history, which have been viewed as sacred liaisons between our physical world and beyond our earthly experience. I blend Romanticism and Expressionism, resulting in mystic yet alienated artwork. It features ethereal exteriors, imaginative interiors, and play with time and space using musical energetic patterning. They’re noted for their psychological penetration and explorative use of mixed media.
